Aspects of the biology and behaviour of Exorista larvarum L. (Diptera: Tachinidae), a polyphagous larval endoparasitoid, were studied for the first time on its host Xestia c-nigrum (L.) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), which is common in the Azores archipelago.
