| Resumo: | The shrimp genus Psathyrocaris is recorded for the first time from Madeira and the Canary Islands, based on the first record of P. infirma Alcock & Anderson, 1894. This is the first species of the genus Psathyrocaris to be described from these Macaronesian archipelagos. |
